Chad Smith, President & CEO
A 1994 graduate of San Francisco State University with a degree in Cinema, Chad worked at the William Morris Agency in Beverly Hills, CA. He returned home to Northwest Arkansas having accepted a Sales Manager position with Pacific Connections and was accountable for all sales to Walmart Stores, Walgreens and JC Penny. In 2001, the Company was recognized by Walmart as a Supplier of the Year.
Since 2000, Chad has been a serial entrepreneur in the retail, retail sourcing, product development and product representation markets. He has placed over 1,000 SKUs at 10 differing retailers. While focused on Walmart Stores and Sam's Club, Chad’s retail relationships also extend to Costco, Walgreens, JC Penny, Office Depot, Staples, Office Max, Home Depot, PetSmart, Petco and others.
Chad’s primary responsibilities will be the overall corporate stewardship of the Company and shareholder relations.
Jim Schnoes, Chief Financial Officer
A 1981 graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Finance (high honors), Jim worked at The First National Bank of Chicago and lead the motor carrier portfolio of the $4.1B Transportation Division. He was hired by J. B. Hunt Transportation Services to become the transportation and logistics company’s first SVP, Finance and Treasurer. After 8 years, Jim left J. B. Hunt and began a transportation consulting company - Transport Capital Partners LLC. The partnership sources capital, manages M&A transactions, and extends management services largely within the domestic transportation market.
Since 2002, Jim has been engaged in a series of retail support functions including transportation design and sourcing, corporate formation, capital sourcing and administrative services.
Jim’s primary responsibilities will be logistics, administration, & finance.
Mike Reyes, Senior Vice President –Sales & Merchandising
A 2000 graduate of The University of Arizona and a Retailing and Consumer Sciences Major, Mike began his retailing career at Gap Inc. in San Francisco, California where he was part of the Old Navy Distribution/Planning organization specifically responsible for Old Navy Canada.
Mike was recruited to join Walmart Stores Inc. as a Buyer and spent x years in the Company’s Apparel/Accessories Division. Following Walmart Apparel’s corporate relocation to New York City, Mike joined became the Director of Sales for TerraCycle Inc. for the United States and Canadian operations. While at TerraCycle, Mike brought on significant growth to the Walmart account via the 2010 April Earth
Month “Hot Spot” program and grew the business from $300,000 to over $5 million in one year. He also aided TerraCycle’s growth by expanding its license relationships by introducing FAB, Olivet and Accessory Innovations to the TerraCycle team.
Mike was named FTJ Group’s Senior Vice President, Sales & Merchandising in January 2011. Mike works with the cross-functional teams to source, develop and sell various programs to most major US retailers. Mike is leveraging his past retail experience and vast relationships to merchandise items in the Stationary, Electronics, Home and Apparel categories.
